Xbox 360 three Red Light Problem – Final Solution
The Xbox 360 has a lit ring which is nothing but the power button and the lights surrounding the power button. The lights are programmed to flicker according the running conditions of the system. The lights are ordered in a quadratic circular manner as a thin ring around the power button. The lights flicker either in green or red depending upon the condition. Also the system is constructed to display error messages on the screen when any problems occur within the system. Basically the codes are displayed in an alphanumeric fashion. The light flickers in green color when your system goes without any problem. But, in case any error happens it turns to red in color. Apart from this the number of lights glowing during an error also shifts. There may be 1, II, III or 4 lights glowing according to the situation.
Fixing
The console can be fixed in II ways. One is by giving the consoleto the Microsoft Xbox 360 Repair service headquartersor else repairing it by your own. Free repair is provided by Microsoft for those consoles which are under warranty period. But, for others fixing is charged. One more draw back here is that you need to wait for up to three months to get your consoleback and hence you can’t even see your console for the next III months. some suggest a method called towel wrapping. This is done to ensure that the weak solder joints in the motherboard gets melted and gets fixed properly when you wrap a towel around the consoleand made it to run for an hour. But system experts say that by performing this kind of technique will break the pieces in the mere future.
Simple Way To Fix:
The easiest and the easiest method to solve this problem is by fixing the console on your own. For this you need to watch some Xbox 360 Fix videos from the internet which gives you a step by step guide to fix the gaming device. The main objective is that you need to remove the X clamp from the motherboard that supports the heat sink(s). After which the heat sink(s)are repaired back in their appropriate positions with the help of a screw and bolt. This ensures that your processor gets enough air and gets cooled naturally. The main advantage in this method is that you can do the repairing work within one or two hours so that it gets ready on the same day and you can start playing your favorite game.
